Mrs. Acurso died Monday, Nov. 11, 1996, at Lakewood Christian Care Center in Redding. Born Jan. 22, 1916, in McDonald, Kansas, she moved to Shasta County in 1957 from Williams. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include daughters Carolyn Miller of Redding, Judith Halloran of Davis, Susan Cochran of Crescent City, Ellen Miller of Medford, Ore., and Linda Weathersby of New Orleans; sister Pearl Tressler of Visalia; 14 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 4000 El Camino Ave., Sacramento, CA 95821. Arrangements are being handled by Lawncrest Chapel in Redding.
