Kathryn June Price went home to be with the Lord on June 18, 2017. She was born July 11, 1932 in Ringling, Oklahoma to John and Opal Stow.
She was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by one brother, Bill Stow. She served and ministered to others well in her profession in the nursing field. She met the love of her life and married Kenneth W. Price on Christmas Eve in 1952. Through the years, she was blessed with three children: Tim Price and wife Teresa; Rick Price and wife Marie; and Tonya (Price) Magnus and husband Doyle; seven grandchildren, Candice Penn and husband Robert, Amber Doty and husband Barry, Heather Anderson and husband Matt, Dustin Price and wife Kristina, Makenzie Magnus, Malorie Magnus, and Jennifer Wyrick; and ten great-grandchildren with another one on the way.
She was a very faithful member of Council Road Baptist Church for 30 years and served in many capacities there. She loved working in youth in her younger years at Knob Hill Baptist Church and took her summer vacation time to work at Falls Creek youth camp. She also took great pride in her work in the nursing field for 40 plus years. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Council Road Baptist Church for missions, a ministry that is close to her heart.
The only viewing will be Wednesday, June 21 from 6:00-8:00pm at Mercer-Adams in Bethany. Services will be held on Thursday, June 22nd at 10:00am at Council Road Baptist Church.
