Victoria Braden King, 86, Lyons Station, died Monday, Jan. 11, 2010, at Colonial Health and Rehab, Bardstown. She was born July 20, 1923, in Lyons Station. She was a homemaker and farmer working and caring for her farm she loved dearly. She attended Seventh Day Adventist Church, Elizabethtown.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, William T. King Sr.; her parents, Garfield Braden and Carrie Lee Douglas Braden; and three brothers, Thurston Braden, Paul Braden and Ben Braden.
Survivors include two sons, William T. King Jr., Elizabethtown, and Jeff King, Cox’s Creek; two daughters, Pam Hodge, Elizabethtown, and Lana King, Glendale; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Cremation was chosen and the service will be private.
