Ricky Allen, age 62, of Garrett, husband of Teresa Lynn Inmon Allen, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2017 at the Highlands Regional Medical Center, Prestonsburg. He was born January 6, 1955 in Floyd County, KY, a son of Thelma Handshoe Allen, Hueysville and the late Bartee Allen. He attended the Old Regular Baptist Church and was a coal miner.

In addition to his wife and mother he is survived by one son; Jonathan Brad Allen, Garrett, KY, 'Special nephew'; Brayden O'Neil Allen, Hueysville, KY, nephew; Corey Allen, Dwale, KY, nieces; Jill Francis, Lucianna Francis, Tiffany (Charles) Butler and Leslie (Eric) Person, all of Indiana. Hunting buddies; Freddy Moore, Pedro Moore, Dan Moore, Matthew Moore and best buddy, 'Max Max' Martin.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bartee Allen, one daughter; Angela 'Brook' Allen, one brother; Danny Allen and one sister; Teresa Gayle Allen, niece; Sonia Allen and great nephew; Trey Aldrich.

Funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Willie Duff officiating. Burial will follow in the Coburn-Inmon Cemetery, Garrett, visitation is after 6 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with church service at 7 p.m., under the kind and professional care of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.

Visitation:
after 6 p.m. Tuesday at Hall Funeral Home, with church service at 7 p.m.

Funeral:
Wednesday, June 21 at 1 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Willie Duff officiating.
