Linda "Sue" Harmon, of Wellington, Kansas, passed on Friday, June 16, 2017 at Via Christi - St. Francis in Wichita, Kansas at the age of 67.
Sue was born the daughter of Harry Willis and Mary Gwendolyn (Roberts) Green on Saturday, October 22, 1949 in Arkansas City, Kansas. She grew up in Arkansas City, graduated from Arkansas City High School in 1967 and attended two years of Cowley College.
On April 3, 1970, Sue and James Leslie Harmon were united in marriage at First United Methodist Church in Arkansas City, Kansas. Together they celebrated 47 years of marriage.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Mary Green; sister, Patricia Wahl; brother, Robert Green; sister-in-law, Rita Green; brother-in-law, William Peters and sister-in-law, Janet Wiles.
Survivors include her husband, Jim Harmon of the home; daughter, Anne Marie Harmon Thomas and her husband Nathan of Alameda, California; son, Jason L. Funeral services for Sue will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at the First United Methodist Church, Wellington, Kansas.
Interment will be at the Kansas Veterans Cemetery, Winfield, Kansas.
