Norman Charles Ross
(January 10, 1929 - June 15, 2017)

Swede was born to Rex and Bernice Peterson Ross in Mt. Angel. His mother died when he was one and he was raised by Rex and his step mother Gladys. In 1952 he married Barbara Eby. They were looking forward to their 65th anniversary this September. Swede was a lifelong farmer in Marquam. He worked hard, and along with Barbara, raised four children. He was able to stay in his home until his passing. He survived by his wife Barbara, daughter Diane (Dick) Lee, and sons Steve (Patty) Ross, Bryan (Renee) Ross, and Larry (Marilynn) Ross, 8 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. A June 20th family burial is planned at Miller’s Cemetery, with a 2:00 PM memorial service to follow at the Marquam United Methodist Church. Remembrances can be given to the Marquam United Methodists church.
