LESLEY, JOHN E. SR. age 72, of Pinson, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lillian and John Lesley; and brother, Tim Lesley. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Linda Green Lesley; son, John E. Lesley, Jr.; daughter, Pam Lesley Hallmark (David Benefield); sister, Mattie Lesley Crawford; 7 granddaughters; and 2 grandsons. John was a member of Pinson United Methodist Church and was employed by Astralloy Wear Tech for 25 years. His family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 from 5-7 PM at Ridout's Trussville Chapel. His service will be on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at Pinson United Methodist Church beginning at 2 PM. Burial will follow at Marvin's Chapel Cemetery.
