Death at Soldiers' Home
J. Warren Dane died in the hospital of the Soldiers' home, Bennington, Thursday evening. Mr. Dane was admitted to the home from Newport three years ago, and had never been able to walk in that time. He served during the Rebellion in company I, 1st Vt. Cav., and was admitted to the home soon after losing his leg in an accident. His body was taken to Newport accompanied by his brother, A.O. Dane, of Boston, who was with him when he died.
