Funeral services were held for John Lamar Roe, 86, of Lucedale, October 26, 2000 at 3 p.m. from George County Funeral Home Chapel.
A native of Camel, Alabama and a member of the Missionary Baptist faith, he died October 24.
He is survived by his wife, Vernon C. Roe; a sister, Jessie Driskell and a host of nieces and nephews.
Interment was held at Howell Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Carl Christian officiating the services. Pallbearers were Jeffrey Rogers, Shane Dunaway, Bobby Dunaway, Billy Howell, David Casey and Tony Howell. (Published in the George County Times, November 2, 2000)
