Annie Laurie Vining Garrett was born to the late, Chester Calvin and Amanda Jane Middleton Vining on August 6, 1924 in Alto, Texas. She was a member of St. Paul Methodist Church and a seamstress for Levi Straus and RL Davis. While Annie was a talented seamstress, her greatest joy and love was in found in the company of her family. She adored her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Annie is survived by her son, Dale W. Garrett and wife, Carleen of Killeen; daughters, Deborah Garrett of Lufkin and Denise O'Kelly and husband, Harry of Tyler as well as seven grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, Weldon E. Garrett, her son, Ronnie Rex Garrett and her two sisters, Mary Jane King and Chester Irene Deaton.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Austin O'Kelly, Michael Garrett, Chris Viteychuk, Tony Black, Cody O'Kelly and Gene Muckleroy.
