Mason Leon Singleton, age 71, passed away on June 16, 2017 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Leon was born on January 7, 1946 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to his parents Charlie R. Singleton and Erma N. Jolly.

After Leon received his general education from Charles Page Schools, he began his career with Flint Steel contributing to the construction of the Keystone Dam. Leon continued to work with other various companies including the city of Tulsa and his own truck driving business until he finished his working years with Midland Recycling as a truck driver; he retired in 2009.

Leon married the love of his life, on November 12, 1965 in Calvary Heights Church of Sand Springs; they shared 51 years of happiness and love.

Leon was a music man; he enjoyed and played all kinds but shared a special fondness for his Mandolin and Blue Grass. He was an ornery man who enjoyed playfully picking on his family and supervising them in all their projects. Most importantly, Leon was a loving husband, father, grandfather who cherished his family deeply and loved every moment he could spend with them.

Leon was preceded in passing by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, his two sons and their wives, his seven grandchildren, his two adopted granddaughters, his four adopted sisters, and a host of numerous family and friends.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Mobley Groesbeck Funeral Service of Sand Springs, Oklahoma. Visitation will be on Monday, June 19, 2017, from 3 pm to 8 pm and Tuesday, June 20, 2017, from 8 am to 8 pm with family to greet friends on Tuesday night from 6 pm to 8 pm at Mobley Groesbeck. Celebration of Life for Leon will be on Wednesday, June 21, 2017, at Mobley Groesbeck Chapel at 1 pm.
