All who knew her would say she was one of the most loving and selfless people they had ever met. She even took time to listen to strangers tell their sad stories and offer her encouragement when she would meet people while shopping, one of her favorite past times.
She was intelligent as well, a “straight A” student, and even worked as an Executive Secretary before marrying Darrell in 1958. Always a great talker with so many wonderful stories told with her hearty sense of humor; but also a great listener, who felt your burdens as her own and who prayed for all of her loved ones every day. She truly lived by the “Golden Rule” to do unto others as you would have them do unto you. She had immense faith and never doubted God’s love for her even through the multiple health issues suffered throughout her last ten years. She truly believed that she experienced multiple miracles and blessings throughout her life. One of her favorite sayings, was “I have had so much icing on my cake, no need to be greedy”
She has always and will continue in her afterlife to inspire those who knew her to be the best and most loving version of themselves they can possibly be and to have confidence in God’s promise of forgiveness, salvation, and everlasting life. Rest in peace “our littlest angel”.
“OUR LITTLEST ANGEL”
An angelic creation of God is Paula Mae
She wakes to count her blessings each day
She cares for all in her selfless way
And always has kind words to say
Paula is truthful, lawful, and fair
And even a lonely stranger feels her care
She with the beautiful shiny silver hair
And hearty laughs that fill the air
The light of dawn shines through her warm eyes
She is smart but even more so wise
Respecter of dignity, she never pries
Only humanity’s sweet sorrows cause her cries
Great mom, daughter, friend, and wife
She’s led a truly remarkable life
Unshakable faith through illness and strife
And yet remains pure of heart and full of life
Thank you God for this woman of love
Sent to help us from heaven above
We love you now, we love you forever
Nothing on earth can cause your spirit to sever
From the God who made us in his own image
Peace be with you our littlest angel
