Howard grew up primarily in the Philadelphia suburb of Narberth, PA. College took him to Lafayette in in Easton, PA and Brown in Providence, RI, but luckily, the US Army brought him to Texas in the sixties.

While working at Dallas Water Utility and the University of Texas at Dallas, he became the first Ph.D. from the school of management.

He spent the next twenty-plus years at Alcatel (Rockwell Collins) and retired in 1998. Hr taught part-time at UTD, University of Dallas, Collin College and continuing education classes for this professional organization APICS.

Howard spent his life pursuing knowledge. Mathematics, music, religion, stereo equipment, health, antiques and anything that peaked his curiosity.

His survived by Barbara of forty-four-plus years and his four children: Son Scott Martin and wife Cellissa, son Mark Martin and wife Ginger, daughter Melody Hamilton and son Howard Bennett "Ben" Hamilton, III and his wife Stephanie.

He was Grandpa to:
Brandi, Vaughn, Chris Martin, Greg Muzljakovich, Bhrianna Martin, Melody Jordan Muzljakovich, Jonathan Hamilton, Franh Burzynski, Lucas Hamilton, Noah Hamilton and Keighvin Martin.
