John Kevin Kiser, age 46, of Madisonville, passed away 10:58 p.m. Thursday, June 15, 2017, at Sweetwater Hospital.
He was currently the sports editor at the Advocate & Democrat. He was pastor of Shady Grove Baptist Church, Tellico Plains, and a longtime youth league and middle school coach. Kevin loved people and was loved and respected by many. He loved the Lord, his family and sports.
Survivors: wife of 23 years, Cindy Taylor Kiser; daughters, Kristyn Rynae Kiser, Cameryn Brynae Kiser; son, Garrett Cabe Kiser, of Madisonville; parents, John and Dollie Kiser; brothers and sister-in-law, Michael Kiser, of Vonore, Steven and Beth Kiser, of Cleveland; nieces, Michaela Kiser, Whitney Cox, Kaitlyn Taylor, Amberleigh and Kayla; nephews, Matthew Kiser, Isaac Taylor, Nathan Kiser; several great-nieces and great-nephews; several special aunts, uncles and cousins; special sister, Linda Kiser, of Vonore; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ronnie and Barbara Taylor; brothers-in-law, Dwight Taylor (Gen), Jason Taylor (Crystal), of Madisonville; special goddaughters, Oceana Richards and Maylen Couch; and other special children of our hearts.
