Jackie as he was affectionately known, loved telling jokes and had a passion for making people laugh. He left a lasting impression on the lives of everyone he met. Freddie was a faithful member of Firm Foundation Apostolic Church. During his lifetime he held numerous jobs, not limited to Holiday Inn, Mather Springs and Chrysler.
Freddie leaves to cherish his memories; sons; Freddie McDonald of Toledo, OH and Eugene McDonald. daughter; Tamika Andrews of Detroit, MI, brothers; Felton, Terry and Kenneth Lewis of Toledo, OH, sisters; Ellen (Robert) Williams, Gail Beasley, and Wanda (Donald) Brown of Toledo. Grandchildren; Ar’Reon Thomas, Heaven and Nevaeh Washington of Detroit, MI, Dominque and Brianna McDonald of Toledo, OH, MaKennah Miller of Cincinnati, OH, uncle; Cravin Ham Sr of Toledo, OH aunts; Thelma Washington of Toledo, OH and Edna Mae Walker of Valdosta, GA, a very special friend, Laquell McDonald, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Family will be receiving guests Sunday June 18, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Wake will begin Monday from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. followed by a 1:00 p.m. service at the funeral home.
