Graveside services for Kenneth W. “Pops” Massey, Sr., 76, of Zavalla will be held Monday, June 19, 2017 in the Tom Havard Cemetery1.
Mr. Massey was born December 25, 1940 in Livingston, Texas to the late Drucilla (Cameron) and Mack Massey. He died Thursday, June 15, 2017 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Massey had resided in Zavalla all his life. He retired from Temple Assoc. and Renfro Logging. Mr. Massey loved being around his family and working on his farm. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his loving wife of 40 years, Rose Massey; daughters and sons-in-law, Lynn and Brian Fountain, Brenda and Frank Johnson; sons and daughters-in-law, Jr. and Tammy Laroux, Ken and Kelley Massey, Ron and Denise Massey; numerous grandchildren; brothers and sister-in-law, Carol Massey, W.M. “Bill” and Marcia Massey, David and Wanda Massey; sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and Robert Lockhart; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Drucilla and Mack Massey; grandson, Jason Wimberley; and sister-in-law, Wanda Sammon Massey.
