Robert S. Allen, of Middlebury Center passed away on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at home. Born August 31, 1927 in Charlestown Twp., PA he was the son of the late William and Lucy (Springer) Allen.
Bob worked for Cowanesque Valley Iron Works. He was a member of the PA Fire Police Association, the Middlebury Volunteer Fire Department and the Wellsboro Moose.
He is survived by his son, Robert (Janet) Allen of Middlebury Center; 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucresha; two sons, Frank and Stanley Allen and a daughter, Linda Hamblin.
Burial in Middlebury Union Cemetery.
