Sanders, Danny Joe, 55, machinist, died June 14. Services 2 p.m. Tuesday (Palmer & Marler, Cushing).
Danny Joe Sanders passed away in Cushing on June 14, 2017 surrounded by his loving family.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday June 20, 2017 at the Palmer Marler Funeral Home Chapel in Cushing, Oklahoma. Pastor Jason Marlow will officiate.
Danny was born in Tahlequah on January 4, 1962 to Kenneth and Peggy (McBee) Sanders. He grew up and attended Muskogee High School in 1980. After high school Danny received training as a machinist and worked at Coberns for many years.
Danny met Marty in 1999 and spent the remainder of his life living and loving her the best way he knew how.
Danny enjoyed life to the fullest, playing his guitar, spending time with his friends, riding his motorcycle, and making Native American jewelry.
Those who knew him best knew he had a heart of gold; he never met a stranger and loved everybody. Most of all he loved his grandchildren first and foremost, but also he loved his two dogs Molly and Angel.
He is survived by his wife: Marty Keith, one daughter: Robin Keith and husband Jason, three step-brothers: Daniel Hardin, Daymond Hardin, and Darian Hardin, one sister: Patty Reece and husband Donald, step-mom Dee Sanders, two grandchildren: Gavin Zane Eddards, Averly Eddards, and two nephews: Kendon and Zachary Reece.
Danny is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and a host of close friends.
