Breaux Bridge - A memorial gathering celebrating the life of Lori Jackson, 74, who passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2017, will take place on Saturday, June 17, 2017, from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge.

Lori Jackson, beloved wife of Earl Jackson, went to the Lord surrounded by family on June 14, 2017. She was a multi-talented artist passionate about life and family. She was a long time member of the Lafayette Art Association whose diverse work has been displayed at the Heymann Center and won multiple awards. She was actively involved in the St. Martinville Garden Club, and contributed to her community with projects like roadside clean-up and the annual Christmas Tour of Homes. She loved to travel, and took her children and grandchildren on many adventures. She also loved cooking and gardening, and passed her love and knowledge down through three generations. She touched many lives and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her sons, Kristian Jackson of Breaux Bridge and Nathan Jackson and wife Amy of Scott; daughter, Lisa Carlson and husband Gregory of Breaux Bridge; brothers, Timothy LaCava and husband John of Florida, Richard LaCava and wife Lisa of New Jersey; sister, Doris Nelson of Norwich, Vermont; grandchildren, Zachary Healy and wife Erica of Lafayette, Jessica Berdei and husband Ian of Los Angeles, CA, Victoria Domingue of Breaux Bridge, Mara Meaux and husband Jessie of Lafayette, Ethan Jackson of Scott, and Rory Jackson of Scott; great grandchildren, Isabelle Calhoun, Annika Domingue, Teagan Healy, Amalie Thibodeaux, and Alister Thibodeaux.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Jackson; a son, Christopher Jackson; her father, Vincent LaCava; her mother, Winifred Kohl; and her sister, Barbara Kohl.
