Evelyn Lou Muse Spencer Hardy, 78, of Flemingsburg, passed away Thursday, June 15, 2017, at the Care Center at Kenton Pointe in Maysville.
Born on December 13, 1938, in Muses Mill, Ky., she was a daughter of the late Everett and Thelma Dunaway Muse.
Evelyn worked as a CNA at Pioneer Trace and several other nursing homes. She was a good Christian lady who loved to help people. In her spare time she loved to read and work with flowers.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Billy, Buddy, Bobby, Woodie, and Betty Muse.
Evelyn is survived by her children, Randy Spencer and wife Janet, Anthony Spencer, William Kiser Hardy, and Penny Drake and husband Robert; her grandchildren, Rob Drake, Jacquelyn Drake, Sasha Spencer, Colin Ray Spencer, Leonard Brayden Spencer, Amanda Spencer, and Whalen Hardy; several great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Mary Muse and Jeanetta Muse; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m., Monday, June 19, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Porter officiating. Burial will follow in Muse Family Cemetery.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. until the hour of service on Monday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to Hospice of Hope (909 Kenton Station Drive, Maysville, KY 41056)
