“Dolly” as she was known to family and friends, was a life long resident of Chester and attended school there, Born to the late David and Reverend Martha Johnson. She was predeceased by her daughter Denise Wells, 2 sisters Edith Garett and Eloise Wilson, 1 brother Melvin Rooks. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Donald H. Wells Sr., 2 daughters Minister Della Wells Gates and Evangelist Donna Lee Wells Rideout, 2 sons Donald H. Wells Jr., and David Wells Sr., many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws. Also her best friend Hazel Lee McMillan.
