Mrs. Brenda Joyce Burns 67 of Rossville passed away Tuesday June 14, 2017. Brenda was a lifelong resident of Rossville and was of the Christian faith she attended the Joyful Sound church in Chattanooga. Mrs. Burns was always putting other’s needs before her own, she always wanted her children to have a good life and too prosper. Brenda is preceded in death by parents Claude Broom and Martha Templeton, husband; Michael Wayne Burns, sister; Debbie Broom. Survivors include children, Timothy Broom, Sr., Troy Martin Jr., Charles Fowler, Eric Fowler and Anthony Fowler, grandchildren; Timothy Broom Jr., Justin Broom, Chelsea Williams, Brandon Robertson, Rylee Fowler, Cheyenne Fowler, Valerie Martin, Kimberly Asher, Caleb Fowler, Jennifer Hutcheson and Zoe Broom, great grandchildren; Gunnar, Anabelle and Scarlette Williams. Sisters; Glenda Hartsfield, Lillian Mahan, Helen Tracy, Alice Kilgore and Ann Curley; special friends Frances Pritchett and Dottie Lynn as well as several nieces and nephews. Brenda will be missed by all who knew her. Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Burns will be Monday June 19, 2017 at 1:00 pm in the chapel with Bro. James Barker officiating burial will follow in the Lakewood South Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday and Sunday from 4-8 pm at the funeral home.
