NEWPORT NEWS - Judith Ann Barnes, 68, passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2015. She was a native of Hazard, Kentucky and a resident of Newport News, Virginia for over 60 years. She retired from Civil Service after many years, as well as graduated from Warwick High School and CNU. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Myrtle Collins. Survivors include her daughter, Lori Young and husband, Robert Young; beloved grandson, Robert A. Young, Jr.; brother, Robert Collins, II and wife, Selena; her companion, Bob Beasley; and family and friends too numerous to mention. A visitation will be held at Peninsula Funeral Home on Friday, October 2, 2015 from 10:00 to 11:15 a.m. A graveside service will be held at Peninsula Memorial Park on Friday following the visitation at 11:45 a.m. Arrangements are in the care of Peninsula Funeral Home.
