Dan G. Rogers, age 90, of Lewisville, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2017, in Flower Mound. He was born May 14, 1927 in Bonham, Texas to Ray Ashley Rogers and Winnie Sledge Rogers. Dan served in the United States Army for a brief tour following World War II. He married Jackie Tompkins on February 2, 1952 in Haskell, Texas. Dan retired from the United States Department of Agriculture and was a member of the Lewisville Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Jackie; sons, Biff Rogers and wife, Karen and Trey Rogers and grandchildren, Colby Blake, Lily and Austin.
A service to celebrate Dan's life will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at Lewisville Church of Christ. Interment will follow at Old Hall Cemetery in Lewisville. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville. The family requests memorial contributions to be made to the Lewisville Church of Christ Building Fund.
