David Miller Cantrell, 79, of Oklahoma City died June 13, 2017. He was survived by his wife Corinne married 40 years. David was born in Mountain View, Oklahoma, the only son of Taylor and Lucille Cantrell. David is also survived by two sisters: Ann Nuckols and Billie Joe McCallick along with his brother-in-law Don Horner and their sweet & loving schnauzer, Maggie.

David was employed by OG&E in Oklahoma City for 32 years as a Welding Inspector. He served in the military and died with Military Honors.

He was an active member of Cherokee Hills Baptist Church for over 40 years.
He enjoyed teaching Sunday School & Ushering. David was also active with Chapter 29 of the Disabled American Veterans.

David leaves behind his beloved wife, Corinne; his daughter Cathryne Cheatwood and husband Chris of Colleyville, TX and their children: James, Katie, Alex, Caroline as well as great grandchildren: Luke and Grace. His daughter Jill Oborny and Mike of Plano, TX and their sons: Mitchel and Thomas. His daughter, Kellie Harden and Dirk of San Diego, CA along with their daughters: Natalie and Jessica.

He also leaves behind his Corrine’s sons: Kirk Harned, Dana Harned and his wife Jennifer and her son, James Webb and Reed Harned and his wife CeCe and sons: Kahle, Corey, Court & Cage.

Funeral Services will be held at Cherokee Hills Baptist Church on Tuesday, June 20 at 1:00pm. The visitation will take place at the church at noon.
