She was born on January 30, 1952 in Hot Springs, AR to the late Carl Stockton and Dorothy Strahan Stockton.
Kathy was married to her beloved husband, John “Tommy” Tubbs, for 17 years. She was the loving mother of Joey Thrasher (Faith). Kathy was the proud grandmother of Adriana Thrasher, Cayden Thrasher, and Carson Thrasher. She was the sister of Cecilia Campbell.
Heaven has gained an incredible soul. She was an idol to many and years ago she rode a bad boy named Rodney. If she could get on him and hang on the rest of us might as well go home. They were a bad mamma jamma team!! Everyone would think if only I could ride half that good and be that brave! She was always encouraging to everyone and a true friend. She was always willing to speak up for what was right, even if it went against the flow. A true cowgirl with grit, determination but yet humble. She was always checking on all her barrel racing friends and encouraging them. Now she is at that Barrel Race in Heaven getting Rodney ready and her entry fees are paid by Jesus for eternity. Ride hard cowgirl!
