Marcella J. Boberg-Wallis, 78, of Medina, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 9, 1997, at the home of her son, Robert S. Boberg in Medina following a three-year illness.
She was born in Cleveland and was a resident of North Olmsted from 1956 to 1995 when she moved to Medina.
Marcella was active at St. Brendan Catholic Church in North Olmsted where she was involved with the Isabella Guild, Kenny Seniors and also the North Olmsted Senior Citizen Center. She sang with the Sweet Adelines in North Olmsted. After moving to Medina she became active at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
She is survived by her sons, Roger E. of Denver, Timothy J. and Robert S. Boberg, both of Medina, and Gene Owen Boberg of Cincinnati; 10 grandchildren; and sister, Rosemary Wells of Cleveland.
She was preceded in death by Gene E. Boberg and John Wallis.
Funeral Mass: 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Brendan Catholic Church in North Olmsted.
Burial: Holy Cross Cemetery, Cleveland.
Visiting hours: 6 to 8 p.m. today at Kacirek Funeral Home, 29060 Lorain Road, North Olmsted.
