On the 2 December 1914, Lois married Wilhelm Percy Wellin (1895-1977), a Swedish émigré, in Vancouver, Clark Co., Washington. She and Wilhelm had three children together between 1916 and 1922: Alice Lucretia Wellin (1916-1985), William Casper Wellin (1918-1990), and Calvin Coolidge Wellin (1922-2010).
Throughout their sixty-three years of marriage, Lois and Wilhelm lived in Portland, where Wilhelm was employed as a millman. Lois was well known in the family for her ability to play the organ.
Lois passed away on the 15 May 1983 in Portland, six years after her husband. Her funeral was held at Peake Memorial Chapel in Milwaukie, Oregon, after which she was buried at Skyline Memorial Gardens. Lois's funeral notice appeared in "The Oregonian" on the 18 May 1983.
