Sheila Butler was born on February 4, 1955 in Lincoln, NE to Wenzel and Patsy Hocker. She joined those she lost and loved in heaven on June 13, 2017 at the age of 62.
Sheila had an infectious smile and laugh that brightened the day of those with whom she shared it with. Sheila enjoyed going to garage sales, movies, and being around family.
She is survived by her mother Patsy Hocker; daughters Yvette Butler and Opal Butler; son Lance (Sarah) Butler; grandchildren Madison Butler, Alexandrea Gertsch, Emma Butler Eikmeier, and Stephen Vance; sister-in-law Kellie (Jerry) Boutin; aunts Marion Reinhardt, Barbara Alley, and Kay Sedlacek; uncle Roger (Sandra) Bridger; and her fur baby Bella. She was preceded in death by her father Wenzel Hocker, brother Kirk Hocker, and significant other Terry Longbine.
A memorial service and time of sharing is 2:00 PM Friday June 16, 2017 at Butherus, Maser & Love Funeral Home (4040 A Street). Memorials are to be directed to the family for further designation.
