Jeffery T. Chandler, 66, of Palmyra, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at the VA Medical Center, Lebanon after a short yet courageous battle with cancer.

Born November 13, 1950 in Harrisburg, he was the son of the late Frances (Pappas) Chandler. He was married to Michelle M. (Hepler) Chandler for over 15 years.

His bravery during the Vietnam War earned him several medals, including two Purple Hearts. Upon leaving the Marine Corps, he was employed by Hershey Medical Center as a photographer. He enjoyed Disney World, Hersheypark, camping and cruises with family. He had a fondness for airplanes, trains and photography – but only if he was behind the camera.

He will be lovingly missed by his wife, Michelle, of Palmyra; his daughter, Michelle Chandler Ellerbe (Jason) of Upper Marlboro, MD; his step-daughter, Mindy Speraw, of Palmyra; his step-son, Brandon Speraw (Briana), of Macungie; and many grandchildren and nieces. He was predeceased by his son, Jonathan, of Harrisburg.
