On June 20, 1987 she married Marvin Burks in Amity, MO at the Orchid Christian Church.
Elizabeth was a graduate of Union Star High School in 1975. She was a member of the Orchid Christian Church and enjoyed collecting dolls, sewing, genealogy, and she especially loved her grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her father and brother, Ricky Kerns.
Survivors include her husband, Marvin, of the home; son, Travis (Tina) Erisman, Platte City, MO; daughter, Megan Burks, Union Star, MO; mother, Viola Kerns, Union Star, MO; brother, Bobby Kerns, Hollister, MO; sister-in-law, Christine Kerns, St. Joseph, MO; 6 grandchildren, Maci, Allex, Brandan, Raelynn, Jacoby, and Mia; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
