Norbert Cletus Raitz of Mesquite, Texas, born Aug. 26, 1931, in Tiffin, passed away Monday, June 12, 2017 in Greenville, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Phyllis Jocelyn Perkins (whom he married Oct. 11, 1952); parents, Clarence and Marie Brickner Raitz; sister, Anna May Raitz Griffin; and son, Jeffrey Todd Raitz.
He is survived by two children, Denise Lynn (Steven) Raitz Brancheau and Peggy Sue (Gary) Raitz Rima; daughter-in-law, Kim Raitz Birch; six grandchildren, Eric Whipple, Curtis Brancheau, Paul Brancheau, Ellyn Brancheau Black, Casey Raitz and Holly Raitz; eight great-grandchildren, Channing, Jett, Jasper, Brady, Brooks, Cole, Cori and Calder; a brother, Jerry (Charlene) Raitz; four sisters-in-law, Delores Ageter, Ruth Rospert, Shirley Kear and Sharon O’Nan; two brothers-in-law, Raymond and Marvin Perkins; and numerous nieces and nephews
