A Southern debutante, a gardener, a water lover, a country girl, a fisher queen, a camper, Beth was the deeply loved wife of David P. Caldwell for 41 years. She also is survived by her son, Christopher Franklin (Susan) Dula; her two siblings, Patti Waller and Harry (Pamela) Waller, Jr.; children, Charles Wesley (Sharon) Caldwell, Paula Elizabeth Baumgardner, Margaret (Jack) Pozenel and Katherine Caldwell; 7 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
Beth was born June 19, 1942, in Charlotte, N.C. She was a 26-year employee of Eastern Airlines in Charlotte.
Beth and David retired to Elk Creek, Va., where she gardened and canned all her favorites. She enjoyed camping and was a snow-bird in St Mary's, Ga.
Beth was preceded by her beloved father and mother, Harry Franklin Waller Sr. and Sara E. (Taylor) Waller.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Lebanon United Methodist Church beginning at 11:30 am. Gleasanna Dixon will officiate.
