Joey Kimble Smith, 39, of Booneville passed away on Tuesday June 13, 2017 at Merit Health Hospital in Biloxi, MS. He was a Regional Manager for Trugreen Lawn Care, he loved sports and was an avid Ole Miss fan.

He is survived by his father, Henry K. Smith of Dumas; one daughter, Anna Smith; one son, Joey Kimble Smith, Jr.; his uncle Tony Smith of Booneville who was his Godfather and raised him as his own; two sisters, Lori Hunsucker of Olive Branch and Carol Gamblin of Horn Lake; four brothers, Ben Lewelling of Olive Branch, Tony Smith, Jr. of Booneville, Scott Smith of Dumas and Richard Smith of Coldwater and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his aunt Syble Smith who was his Godmother and raised him as her own.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, June 16, 2017 at McMillan Funeral Home Chaple with Bro. Doc Shelton officiating. Burial will be in the New Prospect Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Dumas. Visitation will from 5-9PM on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at the funeral home.
