Susan was born in Greenville, Texas on December 29, 1956 to Bob and Helen Hutchins. She graduated from Greenville High School in 1975 and college in 1979 From East Texas State University with a Broadfield Social Science Degree and a minor in Ag.
She was a devoted wife, mother, homemaker, teacher and artist. She was a long time Girl Scout leader, Sunday school teacher and active in the home school community. She was an avid quilter and member of the Cotton Patch Quilt Guild. She was a member of Christ Community Church.
Susan is survived by her husband, Bill Cross; children, Greg Cross and wife, Kelli, James Cross and wife, Sara, John Cross and wife, Chloe, Cinda Campbell and husband, Daniel; grandchildren, Blane, Kahlan, Scarlette, Asher, Evie, Maggie, Elora, Malcolm; siblings, Kathryn and Al Johnston, Robert and Nancy Hutchins, Richard and Gaylyn Hutchins, Betty and Hank Bridges and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
