Patsy Jones Fox, 74, of Roxboro, died Monday, May 29, 2017 at her home. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Margaret "Mac" Jones.
Surviving are her husband of 54 years, Clem "C.B." Fox of the home; two daughters: Lisa Fox Waters and husband, Jonathan of Lake Gaston and Carla Fox Crabtree and husband, William of Winston Salem; two special grandchildren: Taylor Waters (16) and Jaxson Waters (12); two dear cousins like sisters: Margaret Perkins of South Boston, VA and Betty Ann Reda of Chester, NY; one stepsister, Barbara Huff of Oxford.
Patsy graduated from Louisburg College. She was retired after 40 years with the Person County Department of Social Services. She was a lifelong and devoted member of Ca-Vel United Methodist Church having served on various church committees and taught Sunday school. Patsy cherished her family and friends and taking care of her granddog, Evie. She loved dancing, enjoyed playing tennis, snow skiing, and making life fun for all.
Funeral service will be held 11 AM Thursday, June 1, 2017 at the Brooks & White Chapel with the Rev. Kent Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Person Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will held one hour prior to the service.
