Buried at Calvary Cemetery in Lorain in Section 6, Lot #805, grave 1.

Per the card record information provided to Linda Ellis by Calvary Cemetery, Antoni J. Szczepankiewicz is shown as "Ladislaus (Anthony).

On May 15, 2005, a visit to Calvary Cemetery the tombstones of the Szczepankiewicz family were located. For grave #1 on Lot #805 in Section 6 the stone was engraved as Antoni J. 1866-1931.

There is a large monument with only the Szczepankiewicz name on it in front of the three flat stones for Antoni, Victoria and Charles.

The Lorain Health Department's death record for Ladislaus Anthony Szczepankiewicz shows he was born on March 15, 1873 and was 58 years, 2 months and 18 days old at the time of his death on June 2, 1931. He and his wife, Victoria, were residing at 1009 East 35 Street in Lorain, Ohio. He was a laborer at National Tube. He died from carcinoma of the bladder. Mrs. Harry R. Day was the informant. For parents, no mother is listed, however, a father of Joseph Szczepankiewicz is shown. All births are shown as having taken place in Poland.

It is the belief of Linda Limes Ellis that Antony (AKA Antoni) and Antonina (AKA Antonia) Szczepankiewicz were brother and sister.

The surname appears to be spelled as: Stephonick, Tony, with a wife of Victoria. Son, Charles is living with the family. The birthplaces for Tony and Victoria are shown as Poland. He is shown as age 65 and she at age 62. They were both shown as Aliens. The immigration date for Tony was 1903 and for Victoria, 1904. Age of first marriage for Tony is shown as 35 and for Victoria as 33. He is shown working at the Steel Mill and he was not a Veteran.

Declaration of Intention for Naturalization filed on March 14, 1919 in the Common Pleas Court of Lorain County. His name is spelled as "Antony Szczepankiewicz".

He stated he was born on March 13, 1864.

He stated he was born in Kazmierz Poland Russia and that location was also his last residence.

His occupation was laborer.

His physical description shows no distinctive marks. He was 180 pounds with blue eyes and light brown hair and five feet and 10 inches tall with an age of 55 at the time of his March 14, 1919 Declaration.

His wife's name is shown as Victoria and her birthplace as Kazmierez, Poland Russia as well.

He immigrated from Bremen, Germany on a ship from the North German Lloyds Line.

The immigration date is shown as January 13, 1903. The Common Pleas Court Form is No. 4375.

**The closest date of January 13, 1903 for arrival of a ship from the North German Lloyds Line was the ship named "Main" which arrived on January 15, 1903. (There were few arrivals in the month of January of any year.)
