DOYLINE, LA – Services for Julia E. Palmer will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, June 16, 2017 at the Rose-Neath Bossier Chapel. Officiating will be her husband, Dr. Gerald Palmer, pastor of Trinity Baptist Church, Doyline, LA and Dr. Tommy Oglesby of Mt. Pleasant, TX. Interment will follow at Doyline Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 15, 2017 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Bossier City, LA.

Julia was born May 3, 1957 in W. Memphis, AR and died June 11, 2017 in Bossier City, LA. She was a pastor’s wife and a homemaker. She was a wonderful mother to her children and a proud Nana of her “grandgirls”.

Julia was preceded by her mother, Mary L. White; brothers, William Earl and Robert Earl and her sister, Laura.

She is survived by her father, Dr. Earl White; husband, Dr. Gerald Palmer; sons, Josh Palmer and wife, Chelsea, Caleb Palmer and John Earl Palmer; daughter, Melony Stevens and husband, Anthony; grandchildren, Makenzie Julia-Anne Stevens, Sydni Rachael Palmer and Charlee Genevieve Palmer; several brothers and sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.

Honoring Julia as pallbearers will be Logan McIver, Brandon Palmer, Mike Griffith, Brett Holmes, Jeff Brantley and Tommy McIver.
