Businessman. Co-founder with his brother Ralph, of Levitz Furniture, which became the nation's largest retail seller of furniture. The first store was opened in Pottstown, Pennsylvania underwritten by their father. The store tripled in size in just 3 years. The brothers, after moving to Tucson, Arizona, created the 'warehouse' style of selling furniture. He is a member of the American Furniture Retailers Hall of Fame, said to have revolutionized the furniture industry. He was also a supporter of Jewish causes.
