Wanda Lynn Spaur Taylor, 44, of Chesapeake, formerly of Pearisburg, died Wednesday, August 13, 1997 after a courageous battle with Melanoma.

Wanda graduated from Giles High School in 1971 and Radford College in three years with a double major in Political Science and History and later obtaining her Masters Degree. She was formally employed by Roy, Laine, Larson, Remm and LaScara PC in Chesapeake.

She is survived by a dedicated husband and son, Arthur C. Taylor II and A.C. Taylor IV both of Chesapeake; her loving parents, Leonard and Goldie Price Spaur of Pearisburg; devoted brother and sister-in-law, John and Mary Spaur of Pearisburg; nephew, Nicholas Spaur of Pearisburg; father and mother-in-law, Art and Mary Holt Taylor of Lexington; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Mary Ann and Dave Snapp of Fairfax; a special cousin, Jo Ann Hubert of Newport Coast, Calif.; and many relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be conducted 3 p.m. Monday, August 18, 1997 in Birchlawn Burial Park, Pearisburg, Va. with Father Louie Benoit of the Holy Family Catholic Church officiating. Arrangements by Givens Funeral Home of Pearisburg.
