Anthony Rose, 44, of Simon, WV passed away on Friday, June 9, 2017 at Bowers Hospice House, Beckley, WV.

He was born on September 1, 1972 in Wayne County, MI, a son of Karlen Brenda Lawrence-Rose-Murray of Corbin, KY and the late Jerry Wayne Rose (Deceased). In addition to his father he is preceded in death by a son, Jesse James Rose (Deceased); an aunt, Della O'Brian (Deceased) and his grandparents.

In addition to his mother survivors include his stepfather, Dale Arthur Murray; a son, Jerry Dale Rose of Battle Creek, MI; a brother, Jeffery Wayne Rose of Albion, MI; two stepsisters, Christina Murray and Stephanie Murray; a stepbrother, Dale Murray; special aunt and uncle, Evelena Hughes & Ralph Hughes of Oceana; aunt and uncles, Patsy Dunavan & James Dunavan of Corbin, KY and Mary Lou Kermans & John Kermans of Detroit, MI and a host of other loving family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at the Upper Room Church, Long Branch, WV with Pastor Freddie Thompson officiating. He will be laid to rest in Morgan Cemetery, Long Branch, WV.
