Amy Beth Wachowiak-Cole, Holland, MI died on April 22, 2016, at her home after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 45. Amy was born on May 6, 1970 in Bay City, MI to Thomas and Lauretta (Candy) Wachowiak.

Amy worked as a Preschool Teacher up until she became ill. She loved and enjoyed teaching children, this was her passion in life.

Surviving Amy are her son, Jeffrey A. Cole; her parents, Thomas and Lauretta (Candy) Wachowiak of Bay City; Tanya (Donald) Williams of Essexville; Tom II of Bay City; Sara (Paul) Jurek of Bay City; Nieces Alexis and Sophia; Nephew Lucas; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Amy was predeceased by her grandparents, Joseph & Blanche Wachowiak and Joseph & Velma Ward, along with several beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be Friday, June 16, 2017 at 11:00a.m. at St. Jude of Thaddeus Church in Essexville, MI. Rev. Dale Orlik will officiate with entombment at St. Patrick's Mausoleum. Amy's family will receive family and friends on Friday morning at church at 10:00a.m. until time of service.

In lieu of flowers, those planning on expressions of sympathy are asked to consider the American Breast Cancer Foundation or the family wishes.
