Son of the late Laura Titus Lewis, he was a graduate of Scott High School, attended the University of Scranton after graduation, earning a Bachelor of Science in accounting with a minor in philosophy. Having worked several jobs over the years, he became a certified public accountant and was self-employed in the tax business, which he truly enjoyed. He cared about all of his clients, and did all he could to help them with the tax prep and other issues they may have had. He had several hobbies. He tried beekeeping and fly fishing. He was an avid fisherman that put fear in the hearts of all the fish in the areas he went to, taking numerous fishing trips with family and friends. He enjoyed his Harley and riding, taking trips to several different locations over the years. But of all the things he loved, his family is what he truly adored, and being with them gave him great pleasure and joy.
He was affiliated with the Waverly Community Church, Waverly. He was a proud member of various accounting associations, as well as the NRA, the HOG Association and the Willie Nelson Fan Club.
He is survived by a son, Jeffrey Webb Jr., Dickson City; a daughter, Becky Burden and husband, Julius, Scott Twp.; five grandchildren, Jeffrey Webb III, Julius, Josh, Jeremy and Emily Burden; three great-grandchildren, Owen, Jase and Jaxon Burden; and several nieces and nephews.
The viewing and funeral will be private at the convenience of the family, with interment in Miller Cemetery, Fairview Road, Scott Twp. A memorial service is scheduled for June 24 at 6 p.m. in the East Benton Methodist Church, East Benton. All are invited.
