Long time Boise resident, Donna Hampton, passed away suddenly on Saturday, June 10, 2017. She was 82.
Donna was a loving, comforting wife to her devoted husband, Loren, of 63 years. She was a warm and gently guiding mother to their four children: Glynna, Robert, Lori and Lisa. Her seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter all loved and cherished her tremendously.
Her family always knew she loved them, and she was loved and cherished deeply by them as well. In addition to her personal family she was also "mom" and "grandma" to many others.
She was always a lady. Unselfish, considerate, with a fun sense of humor, a beautiful smile, infectious laugh, twinkling eyes, and a wonderful smell, are all the ways her loved ones have always described her. These qualities, and many more, were wrapped up into one beautiful package. How could we have ever been so lucky as to have her in our lives?
Her passing has left a deep void in the hearts of those who loved her. She and her loving heart will be greatly missed.
Donna will be laid to rest with a private family service at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery.
