Judy Lee Johnson Farmer age 70 passed away on June 12th 2017 in Herriman Utah. She was born September 10th 1946 in Orem, Utah to Boyd and Lorraine Johnson. She married Richard John Farmer in the Manti Temple on March 26th 1966.


Judy graduated Stevens-Henager College in 1966, She then worked for Booth Fisheries, Salt Lake City, Ut. She received her single engine airplane land Pilot Emergency Landing rating in 1968 and while working for Signetics, Orem, Ut, earned her PHT from Brigham Young University in 1970. She also worked for Coleman Company, Los Angeles, CA. She started and later sold her own coupon advertising business in Chappaqua, NY. Returning to Utah in 1987, Judy worked 17 years at G.E. Capital and American Express, West Valley City Utah. She served many years as a teacher, Den Mother, Cub Master, Young Women’s President and Relief Society President in the LDS Church. She loved doing all kinds of crafts – painting, embroidering, scrapbooking, making gift cards – her grandson’s all got personally made Christmas and birthday cards each year.


Survived by Richard John Farmer, daughter: Stacey Ann Farmer Conklin, son-in-law Geren Conklin, daughter-in-law: Susan Jensen Farmer and Grandchildren: Brandon Farmer, Gregory Farmer, Kyle Farmer, Casey Farmer, Guy Conklin, and Marshall Conklin. Brother and Sister’s: Cindy Rogers (Kenneth), Susan Henriod and Don Johnson (Teresa).


Proceeded in death by her Parents Boyd & Lorraine Johnson, her son Richard Lee Farmer and her grandson Noah Farmer.


Viewings will be held June 19th 6-8 pm and June 20th 9:30am-10:30 am at the LDS Church, 12682 South Starlite Hills Lane, Herriman Utah. Funeral will follow at 11 am June 20th. Burial will be at the Herriman City Cemetery at 12:30 PM. We wish to thank members of the Pioneer 4th Ward and the Herriman Utah Pioneer Stake for the many hours of service they rendered the Farmer Family.
