Delores was raised in Cartersville, Va. While in Virginia she attended New Hope Baptist Church. At an early age she accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior. Delores had a zest for life and enjoyed hers to the very fullest. She was very talented, has traveled a lot, owned a couple of businesses and was a very straight forward person.
She's survived by her husband James Jenkins; daughter, Leslie Breslin; sisters Emma Henderson and Rose Liggon; aunt, Rosa Smith, two grandsons Dayton and Ian Thomason and many cousins.
Graveside service for the late Delores A. Jenkins will be held at 2 pm Monday, June 12, at Riverview Memorial Park, Fort Pierce. A public visitation will be held Monday, June 12, 2017, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Stone Brothers Funeral Home - Fort Pierce.
