Our loving mother and grandmother passed away surrounded by family on Friday, May 26, 2017, in Eugene. She was born in Parrish, Alabama, on Feb 25, 1931, and moved to Oregon to be with her extended family in 1954.
She also resided in Riddle, Hermiston, Reith and Salem.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter Nuckols and Joyce Earnest; three siblings, James Walter Nuckols, Imogene Thompson, and Ida Dean Zulegar; and two sons, Larry Marvin and James Marcus Miller. She is survived by three children, Carolyn, Ronald and Donald Miller; grandchildren, Aneta and Joseph Synan, Megan Harris, and Harley, Daniel and Chelsea Miller; great-grandchildren, Tyler and Tristen Synan; and great-great-grandchildren, Ruqaya, Hashem and Zarah.
Her cremains will be buried with her mother in the Riddle, Oregon Cemetery.
A Celebration of Life will be scheduled later in the summer.
She will be missed every day by those who loved her.
