Funeral Service For Mrs. Helen Fleming Held Here Saturday
Funeral services were, held in the Woods chapel Saturday afternoon for Mrs. Helen J. Fleming, who passed away suddenly at her home, 1412 Washington Ave., Wednesday afternoon, January 4. Rev. L. G. Buitub, pastor of the Golden Methodist church, officiated. Interment was in Golden cemetery. Helen Josephine Golightly was born in Golden, August 18, 1888 to Joseph and Minnetta Golightly. She had always made her home in Golden and was educated in the Golden schools. Oil May 12, 1900, she was united in marriage here to S. Bry Fleming, and four sons and one daughter were born to this union. She was a member of Mt. Lookout Circle No. 75, Neighbors of Woodcraft, She is survived by her husband; four sons, Joseph, William, Robert and Donald Fleming; one sister, Mrs. Blanche Crawford; and nine grandchildren, nil of Golden. The Flemings' only daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Van Tine passed away several months ago.
