Jacob Korth, 76, 2115 Avenue D, died at a local hospital early Monday following two weeks' illness of heart disease. He had been a resident of Council Bluffs for thirty years. He was a member of Knights of Columbus and of the Holy Name Society of the Holy Family Church.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs J J Derlin of Fort Dodge, IA, Mrs M D Donovan, Mitchell, S D, Mrs Thomas F Connolly and Mrs Leo Book, both of Council Bluffs; two sons, William N Korth, Glendale, Calif, and Leo B Korth of Champaign, Ill and fifteen grandchildren.
The body will be removed from the Beem-Belford funeral home Monday afternoon to the residence where it will lie in state until the hour of the funeral, Wednesday.
