Charles "Ron" Ballard
passed away at the age of 73 on May 11, 2017, from complications of an accident. Ron proudly served his country in the United State Marine Corp from 1961 until 1965. He retired from ORNL as an Electrician. Ron was a member of IBEW Local 760 and a former member of the Karns Volunteer Fire Department.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Rob and Mildred Ballard; and step-mother, Edith Ballard.
He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Ballard; daughter, Donna Ballard French and husband, Shannon Eugene French; step-granddaughter, Rebecca French Staats; sisters, Bernice Ballard Rutherford and Debra Ballard Dunaway; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at 7 p.m. at West End Church of Christ, 8301 East Walker Springs Lane, Knoxville, TN 37923. Click Funeral Home and Cremations - Middlebrook Chapel is serving the Ballard Family.
